In an effort to provide optimal security for all students with disabilities living in the residence halls, at the beginning of each semester, 篮球投注 will prepare a roster of all students with self-reported or parent/advocate reported disabilities living in the halls. The roster will include the name of the student, his/her reported disability, 宿舍名称, 房间号码, 电话号码. Copies of this roster will be given to the resident assistant (R.A.) responsible for the section in which a student with a disability resides, the Director of Men’s Services, the Director of Women’s Services, the Director of Residence Services, Dean of 篮球投注, the 篮球投注 Office 和 all security personnel to be used in an emergency to identify, locate 和 act to help, 保护, 和, 如果有必要的话, rescue the student with a disability.
For the 保护ion of the 篮球投注 community 和 facilities, a security guard is on duty from the evening hours into the early morning. A major goal of 校园安全 is to offer 保护ion for people 和 property on the campus. In order to accomplish this goal, assistance is needed by every person on campus. 校园安全 offers numerous services 和 a strong desire to serve our 篮球投注 campus community. Services Offered by 校园安全
- Emergency First Aid Assistance – To provide assistance to advanced life support which is normally only minutes away.
- 消防安全 – To provide an atmosphere free from fire hazards.
- 三陪服务 – Officers will escort you to any point on campus after 6:00 p.m.
- 停车规定 – To provide spaces in well-lighted parking lots 和 regulate these lots for the safety of the 篮球投注 community.
- 预防犯罪 – Yes, it’s everybody’s responsibility. 然而, the 保护ion of personal property, such as books, jewelry, radios, stereos, TVs, etc., is your responsibility. Do not leave the door to your room or your vehicle unlocked at any time. A thief only needs seconds to steal from your room or car. Try not to keep large sums of money or expensive property on campus. Always be security conscious with your property 和 the property of others. Should you be the victim of a theft, contact the Director of Men’s/ Women’s Services, Dean of 篮球投注, 或校园安全. The College is not responsible for the loss or damage of a student’s personal property.
- 自行车 – Although bicycle registration is not required, traffic regulations apply to bicycles in the same manner as they apply to vehicles. Operators of bicycles on campus are urged to use the utmost caution 和 courtesy. 自行车 ridden after dark should be equipped with adequate lights 和 reflectors in order to be visible to motor vehicle operators. 自行车 must be parked in one of the bicycle racks located on campus.
- 司机援助 – Motorist assistance is limited. 然而, 应您的要求, 校园安全 will attempt to contact a wrecker service or repair person if your vehicle is disabled. Cost of the wrecker is to be paid by the student. Services are based on a priority system. 校园安全 will respond to your request as quickly as possible; however, personal safety calls will take precedence over motorist assistance. You will be advised of approximately how long it may take for a 校园安全 officer to respond. 知情权/危险
