Kentucky Christian University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees. Kentucky Christian University also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Keeran School of Bible & Ministry Accreditation
Kentucky Christian University holds applicant status for programmatic accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808). Applicant status is a pre-membership status granted to those programs that meet the ABHE Conditions of Eligibility for Programmatic Accreditation and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving programmatic accreditation with ABHE.
School of Social Work Accreditation
The Baccalaureate Social Work Program at Kentucky Christian University is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
School of Nursing Accreditation
The baccalaureate and master’s degree programs at Kentucky Christian University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791 (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Both degree programs are approved by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (http://kbn.ky.gov/education/Pages/approval.aspx).
School of Education Accreditation
The unit (Department of Teacher Education) for professional education at Kentucky Christian University is accredited by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board and the unit offers teacher preparation programs which are approved by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.
